Fans and Fixture Installation

Interconnected alarms on the right circuits, replaced when they are past their service life.
Complete electrical repairs
& installations.
The licensed company handles the trade work and the drywall, trim, or paint around it, on one written scope.
One written scope for the whole electrical job.
Most electrical calls start with one symptom and end up touching the wall, the ceiling, or the floor around it. We quote that work as lines on one estimate, so the drywall and paint are not a separate company.
Repairs
- Dead outlets and warm switches
- Tripping breakers
- Doorbell repair
- Flickering lights

diagnosis
Common electrical problems we solve.
Warm outlets
Heat at a receptacle is a loose connection or an overloaded circuit. We kill the breaker before we talk about paint colors.
Older Ocean Township panels
Many 1960–1980 houses are still on a panel that was never meant for central air plus a kitchen remodel. We say what it can carry.
Coastal corrosion
Exterior fixtures in Long Branch and Asbury Park pit out. We use wet-location boxes and gaskets, not indoor cans under a soffit.
Coastal-grade parts.
Pro-grade tools.
Jersey Shore humidity, salt air, and freeze-thaw cycles destroy bargain hardware. Here is what our electrical truck actually carries to your house.
- 200A & 100A copper-bus main & subpanels
- Dual-function AFCI/GFCI circuit breakers
- Whole-home surge protection & generator interlocks
- NM-B copper Romex & armored MC cable
- Heavy-duty joist-mounted fan-rated ceiling boxes
- UL-listed AlumiConn connectors for older wiring
- Tamper-resistant & weather-resistant GFCI outlets
- 3000K coastal LED recessed cans & flood lights
- Lutron LED+ dimmers & smart switch integration
- True-RMS multimeters & circuit load analyzers
- Thermal imaging for warm breakers & loose lugs
- Full NEC & NJ municipal permit compliance
Electrical questions & answers
Don't see your question? Call (732) 333-7800 — a real tradesperson answers 24/7.
Are you licensed for electrical work in New Jersey?
The company license on this site is the New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor license #13VH09886800. That is not an electrical contractor license. Permitted electrical work is done under a licensed electrician, and we say so in the written scope before we open a panel.
Can you add a circuit without replacing the whole panel?
Often yes. We check spare breaker spaces and the load calculation first. If the panel is full or unsafe, we say that before we sell a fixture.
Do you install ceiling fans on old plaster ceilings?
Yes. We find the joist, not just the box, and we replace a fan-rated brace when the old box is a nail-on pancake.
Why does a GFCI keep tripping?
Usually moisture, a shared neutral, or a failing device downstream. We trace it instead of swapping the same outlet twice.
What is the first thing you check on a dead outlet?
The GFCI upstream, then the backstab on the device itself. Ocean Township houses from the 1970s are full of outlets stabbed into the back instead of wrapped on the screw.
Can you add a kitchen circuit for a remodel?
If the panel has a spare space and the load calculation still has room, yes. If the panel is a jammed 100-amp with double-lugged breakers, the circuit is not the first sentence of the quote.
Do you install bath fans that actually vent outside?
The fan is useless if the duct dumps into the attic. We run it to a roof cap or a wall cap and seal the old hole in the insulation.
Why do three-way switches get wired wrong?
Travelers get swapped with the common. We meter the box instead of guessing from wire color, because old knob-and-tube remnants and new romex share the same wall in Red Bank houses.
Will you leave the panel cover off for an inspector?
If a permit is open, the cover stays accessible and the breakers get labeled in pencil you can read. We do not close a wall over an unlabeled panel.
What about aluminum branch wiring?
We do not hide it. If we open a box and find aluminum, you hear about it before we put the device back, and we use the connectors that belong on it.
