After you reach us

What happens from the call to the visit.

From your call to a scheduled visit

Call and describe the room and what it is doing. We ask enough questions to decide whether it needs a same-day visit or a scheduled look: is water moving, has the meter moved, has anything changed recently. If it is an emergency, say so at the start.

We schedule the free on-site look inside a window that fits your day. On site we identify the cause, check what else it touched, and leave a written scope. Work begins after you approve it.

If you prefer email, send the room, the symptom, and a photo to Info@wedoitallhandyman.com. We answer during the same business day.

What to have ready

Clear a path to the work area, unlock the gate or the crawlspace, and put pets in a closed room. If you know where the shutoff or the breaker is, point it out. If a stain only appears after rain, mention that. If it appears after a shower, mention that instead.

The more of the room we can see, the more accurate the written scope will be. We do not need you to diagnose the cause, and we do not charge for the look.

Where we work and how fast

We dispatch from Ocean Township and cover 51 towns across Monmouth and Ocean County. Most towns get a look within a day or two. Active water, no-heat calls, and dead sump pumps get priority.

We supply a certificate of insurance for condo boards, property managers, and commercial spaces. Payment is by cash, check, or major credit card. The written scope is the number you pay.

One company across the trades

Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, roofing, HVAC, masonry, siding, sheetrock, sump pumps, and landscaping. If the repair crosses trades, the same company finishes the room.

That matters most after water damage: the leak, the ceiling, the insulation, and the paint are one scope instead of four schedules.

How we triage the call

Active water, a burning smell, no heat in a cold snap, or a dead sump pump during a storm is an emergency. Say that first. We will tell you how to shut it down safely and when a truck can be there.

A dripping faucet, a sticking door, or a room that needs painting is scheduled. Those calls get a window that fits your day, and the visit is free.

What we need to quote accurately

Tell us the room, what it is doing, when it started, and what changed. If you have photos on your phone, bring them to the visit. If you know where the shutoff or breaker is, point it out.

We do not need you to diagnose it. We do need access, and we need to know about pets, alarms, gates, and parking.

Rentals and condos

For a rental, we need the owner's authorization before work begins. We document the visit with photos and a written scope so the owner and the tenant see the same record.

For a condo or commercial space, we supply a certificate of insurance and coordinate access with the property manager. If the building requires a work permit or a COI before the crew arrives, tell us at booking.

51 towns

Monmouth and Ocean County, from Aberdeen to Wall Township, including the shore towns, the bayshore, and the inland routes. If you are not sure whether your street is on the route, call and ask.

Most towns get a look within a day or two. The schedule is real, not a call center promise.

What we will not do

We will not quote a roof from a photo, diagnose a slab leak without a meter test, or promise a same-day finish on a job that needs dry time. We will not skip a permit or paint over a wet stain.

If the job is outside our license or our crew, we say so and point you to the trade that handles it.

After you approve the scope

We schedule the work inside a window, order the materials that are not on the truck, and confirm access. If a permit is needed, that happens before the first day, not after the wall is open.

You get a start date, a rough duration, and a point of contact. If the schedule moves because of weather or a hidden condition, we call before the day, not on it.

Estimates, invoices, and insurance

The written scope is the estimate. The invoice matches the scope unless you approved a change. We supply a certificate of insurance for a condo board, property manager, or commercial tenant before the crew arrives.

Payment is by cash, check, or major credit card. For a rental or a commercial property, the owner's authorization is required before work begins.

A real schedule

Most towns get a look within a day or two. Active water, no-heat calls, and dead sump pumps get priority. The schedule depends on the route and the weather, and we tell you that when you book.

If the job is an emergency, call. If it can wait, the form or email is fine, and we will call back to schedule.

Call for urgency, email for detail

Call for active water, no heat, a burning smell, or a dead sump pump. The phone is answered by a person, and urgent calls get priority. Email is better for photos, a punch list, or a rental turnover that can be scheduled.

Either way, include the town, the room, and what changed. That is enough to book the right trade and the right amount of time.

What not to send

Do not send payment details, account numbers, or photos of personal documents. A photo of the room, the stain, or the fixture is enough. If the issue is gas, fire, or an electrical hazard, call the utility or 911 first, then call us.

We only use your contact details to respond to the request and schedule the work. The privacy policy explains the rest.
