Complete masonry repairs
& installations.
The licensed company handles the trade work and the drywall, trim, or paint around it, on one written scope.
One written scope for the whole masonry job.
Most masonry calls start with one symptom and end up touching the wall, the ceiling, or the floor around it. We quote that work as lines on one estimate, so the drywall and paint are not a separate company.
Brick and block
- Repointing
- Spalled brick replacement
- Step rebuilds
- Lintel concerns we flag before they drop
Concrete
- Pads, walks, and small slabs
- Crack repair where the slab is still stable
- Trip edges ground or patched
Pavers and stone
- Walks and patios
- Resetting settled pavers
- Polymeric sand after a proper base check
We inspect the cause, check what else it touched, and leave a written scope with materials and timing. The visit is free and there is no obligation to book the work.

diagnosis
Common masonry problems we solve.
Stairs that rock
The tread is rarely the failure. The mortar bed or the footing moved. We rebuild from what is still solid.
White haze on brick
Efflorescence means water is moving through the wall. Sealing it without fixing the water traps the stain.
Pavers that puddle
The base failed or the pitch points at the house. We lift, relevel, and send water away from the foundation.
Coastal-grade parts.
Pro-grade tools.
Jersey Shore humidity, salt air, and freeze-thaw cycles destroy bargain hardware. Here is what our masonry truck actually carries to your house.
- Type N & lime-matched repointing mortars
- Salvaged & kilned brick matched to existing bond
- Bluestone treads, sills & natural stone veneers
- 4,000+ PSI air-entrained exterior concrete mixes
- Fiber-mesh & rebar/wire-mesh slab reinforcement
- Below-frost-line sonotube deck & stair footings
- 6–8" compacted dense-grade aggregate base
- Techo-Bloc, Cambridge & Belgard concrete pavers
- Polymeric joint sand & rigid edge restraints
- Breathable siloxane/silane water repellents
- Hydraulic cement & elastomeric foundation crack injection
- Pitched chimney crowns with overhang drip edges
Masonry questions & answers
Don't see your question? Call (732) 333-7800 — a real tradesperson answers 24/7.
Do you repoint chimneys?
Yes, from a roof anchor, not from a ladder leaned on the flue. If the crown is gone, that is part of the quote.
Can you match old brick?
We hunt a close match. A perfect match on 1920 brick is rare, and we show you the sample before we lay it.
Is a hairline crack in a slab an emergency?
Usually no. A crack that is lifting, or that is wide enough to catch a toe, gets a look this week.
Do you pour concrete in winter?
Only when we can protect the cure. Cold Monmouth County nights ruin a slab that looks fine at lunch.
Why do brick steps rock in March?
The mortar bed or the footing moved in a freeze, not the tread you can see. We rebuild from whatever course is still solid.
Do you repoint with the right mortar?
Older lime mortar does not get a hard Portland bag that traps water. We match the hardness so the brick, not the joint, survives the next winter.
What is efflorescence telling you?
Water is moving through the wall. We find the water before anyone seals the face and locks the salt in.
Can you reset a paver walk that ponds against the house?
We lift the settled courses, fix the base, and pitch water away from the foundation. Polymeric sand on a failed base lasts until the next rain.
Do you pour in cold weather?
Only if we can protect the cure. A slab that looks fine at 3 p.m. and freezes overnight in Howell is a tear-out.
Will you match 1920s brick in Red Bank?
We hunt a close match and show you the sample. A perfect match is rare, and a near match in the same bond is better than a new brick in the wrong color.
