- 5.0 on Google
- 100,000+ NJ properties served
- 24/7 emergency calls
Built for Jersey Shore homes since 2001.
We started in 2001 with a simple premise: homeowners should not have to coordinate four separate contractors when a single leak ruins a pipe, a subfloor, a sheetrock ceiling, and a coat of paint. Two decades later, that is still how we work across Monmouth and Ocean County.
From salt-rotted oceanfront decks in Long Branch and Asbury Park to emergency sump pumps in Brick and full kitchen or bath remodels in Ocean Township, we bring a free on-site evaluation and a clear written scope to every job. The scope on that page is the scope you get.
A repair should last longer than the invoice.
We are not the cheapest call. We are the one that opens the wall, shows you what failed, and puts the scope in writing before anyone starts swinging a hammer.
Licensed & Insured
Active NJ Home Improvement Contractor license #13VH09886800 and liability coverage. COI paperwork for condos and commercial spaces.
One Written Scope
The leak, the ceiling, and the paint are lines on one estimate — not three contractors with three schedules.
Coastal-Grade Materials
Stainless fasteners, PVC trim, and flexible coatings for salt air and freeze-thaw.
Clean Sites
Runners, masking, and daily haul-away. Your house should not look like a job site overnight.
What is true of every visit.
One company, one scope
Most home repairs cross more than one trade. A failed supply line soaks the subfloor, stains the ceiling below, and leaves a hole that needs sheetrock and paint. We stop the leak, repair what it damaged, and finish the room. The plumber, the carpenter, and the painter are the same company, so nobody is waiting on a trade that never got the message.
Every visit starts with a free on-site look and ends with a written scope. The scope names what failed, what it touched, the materials, and the sequence. Work starts after you approve that page, not after a handshake in the driveway.
We are licensed and insured (NJ HIC #13VH09886800) and based at 7 Brook Dr in Ocean Township. We cover Monmouth and Ocean County daily, from the shore towns to the inland routes.
Clear limits
We do not replace a roof from a photograph, diagnose a slab leak without a meter test, or promise a same-day finish on a job that needs dry time. We do not hide a permit, skip a flashing detail, or paint over a stain that is still wet.
If your job is outside what we do, we say so and point you to the trade that handles it. A short honest answer is better than a long estimate for work we should not be doing.
License and insurance
We carry an active NJ Home Improvement Contractor license (#13VH09886800) and liability coverage. We can supply a certificate of insurance for a condo board, property manager, or commercial tenant before the work starts.
Permits are pulled where the town requires them, and inspections are scheduled and met. That record matters at a sale, at an insurance claim, and at the next inspection.
The route
We dispatch from 7 Brook Dr in Ocean Township and cover 51 towns across Monmouth and Ocean County. That includes the coastal towns from Sea Bright to Manasquan, the bayshore and lagoon towns, and the inland routes through Freehold, Howell, Jackson, and Toms River.
Because the routes are local, most towns get an on-site look within a day or two. Active water, no-heat calls, and dead sump pumps get priority. If your street is outside the list, call and ask; if we can reach it, we will tell you.
A typical week
A normal week is a mix: a leaking shutoff on Monday, a bathroom tile repair on Tuesday, a deck ledger rebuild on Wednesday, a rental turnover on Thursday, and a kitchen punch list on Friday. The scale changes; the sequence does not.
Every job gets a written scope, a protected work area, and a walk-through. The small jobs matter as much as the remodels, because they are the ones that keep a house from becoming a bigger project.
The scope is the agreement
We put the work in writing before it starts: the cause, the repair, the materials, and the sequence. If the job changes once the wall is open, we stop and show you before we continue. The number on the scope is the number you pay.
We do not add a travel fee after you say yes. We do not quote a finish before the substrate is dry. We do not disappear after the invoice. A workmanship issue is our return trip.
What happens on the day
We arrive inside the window, protect the floor and the furniture, and look at the cause before we quote the repair. You get a plain-English explanation on site, not a text message three days later.
The work is tested before it is closed. The old parts and packaging leave with us. At the end, we walk the job with you and write down anything that needs a follow-up.
Why local
A 1920s Asbury Park Victorian, a 1970s Brick ranch, and a new Long Branch duplex fail in different ways. The local crew knows which walls are plaster, which floors are over a crawlspace, and which towns flood in a nor'easter.
That knowledge changes the scope. It is also why we can usually get a look within a day or two instead of a week.
The truck
Common stops, supply lines, fasteners, patch materials, and the hand tools to open a wall and close it cleanly. The truck is stocked for the first visit, not for a return trip to the supply house while you wait.
Specialty materials are ordered for the job and named in the scope. If a product has a lead time, we tell you before the schedule is set.
Stainless fasteners, PVC trim, and flexible coatings cost more than the builder-grade alternative. They also last through the salt air and the freeze-thaw that the cheaper product does not. We explain the trade-off and let you choose.
Inside, the choice is about the room: a solid door in a humid hallway, a cement board in a shower, a finish that can take a mop. The material list follows the use.
How to start
You do not need to know the trade. Tell us the room, what it is doing, and when it started. We will tell you what the visit looks like and whether it needs a same-day call or a scheduled look.
Call (732) 333-7800 or email Info@wedoitallhandyman.com. The on-site look is free, and the written scope is yours to keep.
Tell us what is wrong. We will tell you what it takes.
